I have had to lighten this shot so it can be read it is printed on a very dark maroon board. It is possible to read under the name Daisy Bus service that the proprietor was G Lewis. The ticket was printed by Bell Punch London.
The Daisy Bus Service of Broughton near Brigg ran a daily service year-round from Brigg to Scunthorpe and a summer-only route to Cleethorpes (then a popular seaside resort). They were probably best known for operating the only Dennis Pelican ever built, a former demonstrator with Duple Midland bodywork. Intended to compete with the “second generation” of underfloor engined chassis such as the Tiger Cub and Reliance, it found no takers.
Thanks to Neville Mercer for the information regarding the Daisy Bus Service
